A rare front page from the early American illustrated paper "Rural Repository", this front page featuring a large illustration (engraving) to accompany the front page feature, "The Dress Maker" - May 10, 1845 issue - Nice crisp images and printing produced on quality white paper (they used to print even newspapers on nice white paper). This was acquired already removed from the remainder of this issue, and is sold as a single page print, with text on front and on verso (Story is complete on front and back. A very appealing and charming print.
